Paris was amazing! For sure! I love that magical city so much and it didn't disappoint me on this trip! I was telling Danielle that my love for Paris runs deep, and I think it is for several reasons. First, it was my very first city to visit outside of the U.S. I think that alone makes it special. Secondly, I studied French in high school and college, so I know a little bit of the language, culture and history. Thirdly, it just has a magical feel. I think it comes from the twinkling Eiffel Tower, the magnificent buildings and the strollable streets. For all of these reasons, plus the added benefit of being there with my best friend and her super fun mom, my New Years trip to Paris was pretty awesome!
Some of the highlights included:Seeing the city from four different elevated vantage points - the top of Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur.
Experiencing the city all decorated for Christmas - including the beautiful Champs Elysses.
Going to Disneyland Paris - my first international Disney experience was so much fun!
Having the craziest night of my life at the Eiffel Tower on New Years Eve - the story is too long for blogging, but just ask me about it and I'll share.
Experiencing the grandeur and extravagance of the rich at Versailles and Napoleon's Tomb.
Laughing and having so much fun with my travel buddy!
